Frequently Asked Questions

 Players should arrive 10 minutes ahead of their session to check in. After check in we'll go through an introduction, explaining the days format and how scoring works. We'll introduce you to our Semi Automatic, MagFed, .68Cal Markers, with instruction on use, safety briefing and issuing any protective gear required.

The structure aims for practice and timed runs shooting at 30 targets throughout 6 areas within a 3,500 sq. ft. staged environment. Scores are entered onto your groups leaderboard before announcing your winner. Longer/Group session format can be adapted to include additional formats (Head to Head Elimination, King of The Hill, Decider rounds etc) where time permits.

 The Alley is a purely recreational activity designed to offer whatever degree of competitive intensity you want. First and foremost this is supposed to be fun! However, if you want to channel your inner Keanu and set records, we've got your back. 

 Light, casual clothing is recommended. Even though you will be firing paintballs, there is very little chance of you being hit (unless you're very dexterous!). The paint used is washable and wipes of many materials. We do provide coveralls for those who would prefer them.  

 The Alley is absolutely no contact, you won't even be on the course at the same time as anyone else, so there is zero chance of you getting hit even accidently.  Well maybe splashed a little but, not shot.

 Don't worry, a run is just the term for navigating the course route. The course is not physically challenging and our markers aren't very heavy. You can take a sedate walk through, but the faster you are, the more "Runs" you will get.  

 All deposits are fully refundable up to 72 hours before the booking, to give us the opportunity to re-fill that session. In certain cases, we may waive the notice period, but at the managements discretion.  Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss a refund inside the 72 hour window.  

 Limited refreshments are available on site (Soft drinks), no alcohol or food services are available. For party or group catering options, please contact the office team at bookings@postmytime.com 

 Players must be over 14 years old, be in reasonable condition and have no preexisting conditions which would prohibit them from 2-3 minutes light physical activity. Please check the Terms and Conditions for more details or feel free to contact us regarding accessibility. 

 While we appreciate the draw of a cheeky little one, we have a zero drugs and alcohol policy on site. It's a requirement of our insurance and we reserve the right restrict or remove players deemed intoxicated. Besides, no one wants to be that drunk and bottom of the leaderboard. 

Unfortunately we do not have parking as we are based right in the center of Nottingham, with plenty of option close to us.

 Absolutely, we take safety extremely seriously at the Alley and is one of the reasons we built the concept around non contact paintball. No-one likes being hit, so why do it? You will be accompanied by a Marshall while walking the course, with full protective PPE. The markers can seem loud at first, but  you quickly get used to them. Ear defenders are provided for all players.
